Alexandria Toyota is a great place to buy a car and have it serviced! I was introduced to Paul Sonnhalter by a friend who told me he was the best!
I called him Monday afternoon for a power window that wouldn't go up or down and he fit me in quickly on a very busy day and fixed the problem.
If' that's not service, I don't know what is!
I admire his pacience, advice, and good aprocach while I and other customers arrived there. I was confident that my problem would be solved when I was giving him my key. And it is solved. Please keep on.

I've been coming to this dealership for service since I purchased my 2009 4 Runner on August 2009. My most recent visit was last month (August 2015) with Ms. Simpy Behl. Ms. Behl is the only service advisor that I would deal with. She is friendly, courteous, and always keeps me in the loop with the status of my vehicle. I recently purchased another vehicle and I am really going to miss her assistance. Fortunately, I have a family member that owns a Toyota and I have told him to please keep Ms. Behl in mind when service is required. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK SIMPY!!!

I had a water pump problem with my 2008 RAV4 that was covered by warranty. Paul in the service department kept me apprised of the repair and handled all of the warranty paperwork effortlessly. Outstanding service.
So I was buying my first car and the salesman Jim was great however once he let his manager take over the sale the service went from 100 to 0. The manager constantly had an attitude and showed no interest in selling me a car. The manager made my first experience of buying a car horrible. After I decided I would get the car I asked if I could allow my mechanic to inspect the car and immediately he tensed up and forbid me from getting the car inspected. If you're buying a car from them I highly recommend you get someone to look at it. This dealership may be selling bad cars from the look of it. In the end I told the manager that I wouldn't buy a car unless I could get it inspected by my mechanic and he still refused. So I left and a week later found a better car dealership that let me have my mechanic inspect the car and they offered way better customer service out in Annapolis. So my suggestion: either get the car inspected or buy a car elsewhere!!!
Since relocating to Virginia I’ve patronized a couple dealerships, and even after finding Jack Taylor’s Alexandria Toyota dealership I’ve had a couple different Service Advisors that I wasn’t pleased with, including the Manager. However, after working with Paul Sonnhalter, he definitely has my loyalty. I’ve been working with Paul for a couple years and he has never steered me wrong. He is helpful, thorough, honest, and truly customer focused. My Toyota Supra and Prius are both in tip top shape thanks to Paul.
I have a Hyundai, but Jack Taylor's is right nearby. I went to go get a state mandated safety inspection, and was instantly told about how long it would take, and that my dirty car (which it was) could use a car wash, which they would be happy to provide free of charge. In under the quoted amount of time, Suzan let me know that I had two lights that needed to be replaced. However since it wasn't a Toyota, they didn't have the parts. She graciously kept a spot open for me as soon as I returned with the new lights, and got me right through.
In short, it was a pleasure to go here, and Suzan definitely took care of me. I'll definitely continue to bring my business here.
Our family was visiting from out of town and experienced some issues with our vehicle. We contacted our dealership back home and they told us that it would cost us upward of $1,000. I frantically called Hazzard who advised us to come in right away and that him and his team would take care of us. We were so overwhelmed with their friendly nature and service. They helped us solve our issue without costing us anything. It was promptly looked after which hardly disturbed one of our only two vacation days and the staff were incredibly friendly.
